    Meet Our Executive Director
Meredith Whitehead
Meredith Whitehead is a community development leader with more than 15 years of experience advancing economic mobility and equitable investment. As founder and CEO of The Cedric Group, she has led national and regional initiatives that strengthen local capacity and create pathways to opportunity. A proud Bearcat and Leadership Ohio alum, Meredith is passionate about helping communities and the people within them thrive. When she’s not working, She’s usually with her dog and only child, Sancho.

       Mary C. MillerPRESIDENT Mary C. Miller has spent most of her career as an educator with experience teaching, writing curriculum, and mentoring in grades pre-school through college. In her most recent role she served in administration as the Director of Federal Program and Professional Development for a small school district in Arizona. She worked closely with teachers and managed federal grants and compliance for the district. Mary C. now retired, is a very active grandmother. She moved to Norwood in 2015 and loves all the friends and neighbors she’s met and the amount of care they have for each other and the community.

       Angela Gray-GirtonVICE PRESIDENT Angela Gray-Girton has lived in Norwood since 2012. Angela currently serves as the Director of Eigel Center for Community-Engaged Learning at Xavier University. Together with her husband, Jeff, and daughter, Audrey, she loves getting to know her wonderful Norwood neighbors.

       Tim KlingTREASURER Tim Kling has worked for United Dairy Farmers in Norwood for the past 14 years, serving as Director of Real Estate & Development, expanding their vast portfolio of stores throughout the Tri-State. Prior to UDF, Tim spent 14 years with Fifth Third Bank, working in a similar role, managing the bank’s growth in six Midwest Affiliate Markets. He’s also been actively involved in the Norwood Chamber of Commerce, recently serving four years as President. Tim grew up in another great Cincinnati neighborhood, North College Hill, and now resides in Liberty Township with his wife and three sons.

       Vicki GarrySECRETARY An attorney who recently retired as a Principal Assistant Ohio Attorney General, Vicki and her husband, Tim, have lived on Cameron Avenue for the past 27 years. She is the mother of three adult children and enjoys walking their rescue dog, Buster, throughout Norwood and along Wasson Way.

       Sarah Allen | OFFICE MANAGERSarah is a native Cincinnatian and 2018 Norwood transplant. She is enthusiastic about Norwood and the community here, and is excited to get more involved with Norwood Together. Outside of work, she is an avid thrifter, antiquer and upcycler of old electronics. Her creative flair and her love for vintage drive her to restore and reimagine old TV’s and radios into unique and fun accent furniture pieces.

       <b>2025 Interns</b>From left to right: Kayra Koprulu | U.C. Co-op student Kayra is a third year Urban Planning student at UC, and is doing her co-op with Norwood Together doing a market analysis of the Worth Avenue business district. In this role, she'll be researching property ownership & redevelopment opportunities, engaging with the community, and exploring housing and economic development potential. Yulissa Bonilla Guachata | XU Intern Yulissa is a Junior Criminal Justice with a minor in Criminalisitcs at Xavier University. She is going to be managing Norwood Together’s social media. Riley Mills | XU Intern Riley is a first year cybersecurity student at Xavier with a passion for community engagement, leadership and service. She will be assisting with the logistics of community events, and helping to reorganize programs to strengthen local impact.
