Wasson Way Mini-Grants

Thanks to the generosity of Norwood neighbors who supported the Wasson Way extension through the city, Norwood Together has a small amount of money to be used to encourage Norwood residents to use Wasson Way.

What are Wasson Way Mini-Grants?
Wasson Way Mini-Grants are small grants ($200-$500) for Norwood residents who have an idea that will enhance our section of Wasson Way, improve access to the trail, or encourage walking or biking in Norwood. These grants are meant to encourage experimentation, build leadership, and bring people together.

Who can apply?
Anyone who lives in Norwood is eligible for a Wasson Way Mini-Grant. Individuals may receive Wasson Way Mini-Grant funding only once per year.

When can you apply?
The application period opens July 1, 2020, and will remain open until all funds are committed.

What do we fund?
Norwood Together is seeking projects that encourage people to use Wasson Way, as well as supporting safe walking and biking in our community. We want projects that will build upon and improve the walkability of our city and bring people into common spaces.

Eligible projects should be well-planned, accessible to all, and able to be completed within three months of approval. We expect to fund about three to four projects.

How do I apply?
Fill out the form below.

What happens after I apply?
Mini-Grant applications will be reviewed by a team from Norwood Together. Funding decisions will be communicated within 30 days of receiving the application.
